Prospects of youth entrepreneurship were discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO
The
All-Russian Youth Entrepreneurship Festival "BUSINESS OF THE YOUNG"
at the RUSSIA EXPO continued with a panel discussion on youth entrepreneurship,
which was held in Pavilion No. 55 "Home of Youth".
"In
the changing geopolitical landscape, building effective and reliable
partnerships is of paramount importance in international relations. A strategic
role in this is played by young people, who will have to realize the
fundamental foundations that are being laid today," said Vice President,
Head of the Legal Committee of the "Association of Exporters and
Importers" Arthur Leer.
He added
that in terms of building economic ties, youth entrepreneurship can become a
leading tool.
"Thousands
of young people from different parts of the world have expressed their
willingness to integrate business processes and interest in forming a common
space for youth business development. This was confirmed by the creation of the
International Community of Young Entrepreneurs at the World Youth Festival in
March 2024," added Arthur Leer.
Viktor
Alipa, Head of the Youth Entrepreneurship Development Department of the
Rosmolodezh.Business track, noted that there is a growing interest in
entrepreneurship among Russian youth.
"Today
there are about 40 million young people living in Russia, 16 million of them
plan to realize themselves in entrepreneurship and open their own business in
the next three years," said Viktor Alipa, Head of the Youth
Entrepreneurship Development Department of the Rosmolodezh.Business track.
He
emphasized that Russian youth are increasingly active in shaping the business
agenda in the country.
"There
are already 2 million young entrepreneurs in our country. As of today, they
form 10% of Russia's gross domestic product. Young people under the age of 25
register their businesses more often and faster than representatives of other
age categories. This indicates that in Russia the greatest growth of new small
and medium-sized businesses is in the field of youth entrepreneurship,"
said Viktor Alipa.
He noted
that the Rosmolodezh.Business track pays attention to the formation of a
business community whose key goals are to create, help their Motherland,
improve the world around them and share experience.
"The
main assembly point is the Young Entrepreneurs Club, whose mission is to
inspire young people to do business in Russia, to take responsibility for
themselves and the future of the country. The Club brings together young
entrepreneurs from all regions of the country. In 2023, the total number of
residents of the Club exceeded the mark of 6500 entrepreneurs," added
Viktor Alipa.
Rosmolodezh.Biznes
is the basic organization of the CIS member countries for the development of
entrepreneurship. Viktor Alipa noted that because of this, the track implements
a program for the development of youth entrepreneurship in foreign countries.
"Last
year we had four business missions, we helped to conclude 33 export contracts
worth 210 million rubles. These are small numbers for the Russian Export
Center, but we are pleased to see the steps of entrepreneurs with a request to
enter international markets," he pointed out.
The National Centre RUSSIA reminds everyone that registration for the video essay contest "Dreams of the Future".
