The first "ROUTES OF VICTORY" by the National Centre RUSSIA and BelExpo to launch in May
A delegation from the Republican Unitary Enterprise "National Exhibition Centre BelExpo" under the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Republic of Belarus visited the National Centre RUSSIA. During the meeting, the parties discussed the launch of the bilateral weekend tourist routes "ROUTES OF VICTORY."
The launch of the routes dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory will become one of the largest joint projects of the National Centre RUSSIA and the state enterprise BelExpo. The development of the routes is now in its final stage, with the first one expected to be launched as early as May, said Yelena Likhimovich, Deputy Director for Tourism Activities at BelExpo.
"We are actively collaborating with our colleagues from the National Centre RUSSIA on the development of the 'ROUTES of VICTORY' weekend tourist programs. We are responsible for the route passing through Belarusian territory. We have tried to include not only well-known sites such as the Brest Fortress but also lesser-known locations that are no less unique in their history," noted Yelena Likhimovich.
The launch will be timed to coincide with the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the heroic history of the two brotherly nations and be inspired by their achievements. The routes across Russia will cover Moscow and the Moscow Region, while the route in Belarus includes visits to Vitebsk, Minsk, and Brest. Tourists will have access to various options for the first, second, and third days of the program.
"One of the goals is to organize the flow of tourists who currently travel independently and guide them through our routes. These programs are essential for both countries," emphasized Yelena Likhimovich.
Earlier, the National Centre RUSSIA signed an agreement with the Republican Unitary Enterprise "National Exhibition Centre BelExpo" under the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Republic of Belarus on cooperation in the tourism and exposition sectors.
Additionally, an International Exhibition Centre is set to open in Minsk in May, which will develop joint projects with the National Centre RUSSIA.
