First impressions from the RUSSIA EXPO: admiration and pride!
Find yourself inside an active volcano, make friends with the first Russian android, fly in a hot air balloon and go into space. Nothing is impossible at the International RUSSIA EXPO, and the first visitors are delighted.
Since nine in the morning VDNH has already been crowded with people. The 75th pavilion of the main exposition of the country opened its doors to them. The small queue at the entrance moves quickly, and in a few minutes you can find yourself in a huge exposition space. The stand of the Kamchatka region immediately attracts attention. The spectacular and technological space is a real portal to the land of fire-breathing mountains.
"There are lava and fire inside an active volcano - fhis is breathtaking. And then there are the stands of the Far East and the Primorye region - they are also interesting! You walk along the corridor - "Leopard Trail", as if you are in the taiga, and we also listened to the sounds of the sea through the shells. Now I really want to visit the Far East,", - says Sofia Sherotaeva, a student of Vladimir State University from the Vladimir region. Sofia and her classmate came to Moscow specially for the RUSSIA EXPO.
And pensioner Irina Stukalova from Kostroma went to the Ryazan stand to fly in a virtual balloon. It looks like a real hot air balloon and even bounces off the ground, though not very high, the rest is technology.
"Can you imagine, you put on virtual reality glasses and fly. It's so great, we even flew over Konstantinov! I feel proud for our Russia! At the St. Petersburg stand, for example, it's as if you're in the middle of the Neva River, it seems as if you're about to be swept away into the Gulf of Finland. It's incredible!" - Irina enthusiastically shares her impressions.
While at the exposition of the Ryazan region poetry is recited by an actor in the guise of Sergei Yesenin, at the Perm stand poetry pours from the mouth of the humanoid robot Ardi. The friendly android is surrounded by a crowd all day long. The robot takes selfies with visitors and engages in conversations.
"I'm not a big fan of robots in general, but this one is cool. It copied our movements when we took pictures with it. Then it praised our photo and said to put it on the screensaver, I will do just that!" - promises young Albina Ivanchenko from Moscow.
The girl brought her parents to see the exposition she heard so much about on TV and read in the Internet. After talking to the robot Ardi, Albina's family headed to the Omsk region stand to find themselves inside the Angara rocket.
"It seems like you're really flying, I even got a little dizzy, but it was great", - Albina shares her impressions.
The International RUSSIA EXPO was opened at VDNH on November 4. It will be visited by at least 20 million people until April 12, 2024.
The integration of special military operation veterans into peaceful life and the interaction between regions and municipalities were discussed as part of the Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA".
The second All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
