Singer Tatyana Kurtukova became a guest of the new episode of the "Russia Speaks" podcast
Russian singer, actress, and performer of the hit "Matushka" ("Mother") Tatyana Kurtukova became the main character of a new series of the "Russia Speaks" podcast — an original educational project by the National Centre RUSSIA. The artist has already performed concerts several times in the space of the National Centre RUSSIA and highly praised its significance for the country's cultural life.
"I think this is even a strategically important place. It's large-scale, but cosy — it brings together like-minded people, patriots, guests of Moscow and the whole country, to show the beauty and zest of our Motherland," noted Tatyana Kurtukova.
Podcast host Anzhelika Kiryan spoke with the singer about the growing popularity of folk music, the revival of Russian cultural traditions, the role of women in society, the artist's creative path, and the special feminine strength symbolically embodied in the song "Matushka."
Tatyana Kurtukova also shared secrets of successfully combining creativity and family life and chose a gift at the RUSSIA Department Store for the most active viewers of the podcast.
The new episode of the "Russia Speaks" podcast with Tatyana Kurtukova will be available for viewing on the russia.ru website and on the National Centre RUSSIA's social networks. Stay tuned for announcements.
The event will bring together more than 800 media specialists, bloggers, journalists, and industry experts from across the country.
From 14 to 19 October, the National Centre RUSSIA will host a thematic week dedicated to the Nenets Autonomous Area.
It is the world’s largest educational science project and one of the key events of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia.
