Writer Ivan Zotchik emphasized the importance of the concert "Maslenitsa. Time of Traditions" at the National Centre RUSSIA
Maslenitsa
is of great significance not only for individual residents of Russia but for
the entire Russian people, noted the guest of the multi-genre concert
"Maslenitsa. Time of Traditions" at the National Centre RUSSIA,
writer Ivan Zotchik.
"Maslenitsa
is our traditional holiday. And now, when the revival and strengthening of our
traditions is constantly ongoing, I think that having such a large number of
invited guests here at the National Centre RUSSIA for free is
magnificent," said the writer, publicist, and member of the Union of
Writers of Russia, Ivan Zotchik.
The writer
also emphasized the important role of artists in popularizing traditional folk
holidays.
"An
artist attracts attention, possesses a certain magnetism, charisma. It is no
coincidence that many of us love theater and film actors and try to emulate
them. Therefore, where an artist is present, they lead people, and this must be
acknowledged," noted Ivan Zotchik.
The concert
program "Maslenitsa. Time of Traditions" consisted of three parts.
The first recreated the atmosphere of folk festivities, ditties, and winter
street games, the second transported the audience to a cozy living room, where
the artists performed lyrical romances by a warm fireplace. The final part was
dedicated to the beloved songs of the Soviet era.
The concert
featured soloists from the Bolshoi Theatre Guzel Sharipova and Ksenia Dezneva,
soloists from the Mariinsky Theatre Natalia Pavlova, Andrei Serov, and
Alexander Trofimov, world champion in beatboxing Vakhtang, folk DJ Arif, the
vocal ensemble Ariel, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, and the folk dance
ensemble Paraskeva.
