The launch of the floating laboratory in 2022 has become a landmark event for our country, allowing to strengthen Russia’s status as a world Arctic power.

The floating station for Arctic research is presented on the website "Achievements.RF". It is the only facility of its kind in the world — the world’s first floating Arctic laboratory. Thanks to the "North Pole" platform, scientists collect valuable information about Arctic inhabitants and search for safe routes along the Northern Sea Route.

The ice-resistant self-propelled platform "North Pole" set out on its expedition last year. Polar researchers now have the opportunity to do scientific and research work in more comfortable and safe conditions. At the same time, the mobile large-scale scientific laboratory allowed for more efficient collection of data in the field of climate, ecology, biology, oceanology and other disciplines important for the implementation of the Russian Arctic development strategy. The information obtained can be processed immediately on board the "North Pole" platform.

This and other projects, which the country is proud of, can be seen on the website "Achievements.RF", where you can also vote for the projects of the regions.
