Victory Mail for fighters of the Special Military Operation
On the
Heroes of Fatherland Day, the Victory Mail project was launched at the stand of
the Republic of Mari El. Anyone can write a letter to the fighters in the SMO
zone. The project was initiated by the head of the republic Yuri Zaitsev.
The letter can be put in a special box or sent online by scanning a QR code. Also everyone will be able to print the letter at the printer, put a wax seal on the envelope and make a memorable souvenir photo.
"I want to thank all those who took part in this Project, who did it and continues to do it with their own hands. The patriotic movement today is more important than ever. And, you know - it seems like you just write a letter and it's gone, but they have a completely different perception there. The guys told me that sometimes tears come to their eyes. Sitting in a trench in the most terrible conditions of military action, you open a letter and there are warm words. And if they are written by a child's hand, it is worth even more. That is why they keep these letters and carry them along. This is the support you can provide", - said the Head of the Republic of Mari El Yuri Zaitsev.
Hero of the
Soviet Union, Major General, commander of the legendary Group A of the USSR KGB
Gennady Zaitsev, who also took part in the project, answered the questions of
the guests.
"For me the word "patriot" is deciphered as follows: it is a person who loves his Motherland infinitely, does everything for its prosperity, and when the hard hour comes, is ready to defend it with a weapon in his hands", - said Gennady Zaitsev, Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General, commander of Group A of the USSR KGB.The
