Honored guests of the "Journey Across Russia" exposition shared their opinions on the new project
The opening of the "Journey Across Russia" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA was attended by representatives of enterprises and state corporations, whose major achievements are showcased in the exposition. They spoke about the significance of the new project both for individual enterprises and the country as a whole.
The Roscosmos
State Corporation presents its own stand at the exposition. Visitors can learn
more about space technologies, explore projects such as the Russian Orbital
Station, the Angara launch vehicle, the Amur-LNG rocket, and other exhibits,
and even send a "greeting from space."
"Here,
visitors can get acquainted not only with history and cultural traditions but
also with art — and I would even say, with the art of technology, the art of
modern engineering. For example, as you walk through the Russian taiga here, in
the heart of Russia, at this exposition, you can smell the taiga, hear its
sounds. I think that already says a lot. Our country is vast, and traveling
across it takes a long time. But here, in just an hour and a half, you can
explore all its regions," noted pilot-cosmonaut and Hero of Russia Andrei
Fedyayev.
Honored
guests particularly highlighted the scale of the exposition and shared that
visiting the venue filled them with a sense of pride for the country and its
people.
"This
is an incredible scale with numerous fascinating exhibits, including
achievements of modern industry that are significant not only for individual
regions but for the country as a whole. But the most valuable aspect is that
behind all these enterprises, federal districts, and regions, there are people.
They are the ones bringing all these incredible projects, technologies,
enterprises, and works of art to life," emphasized Ivan Chebotaryov,
Director General of the Koelgamramor Enterprise.
The new
project demonstrates that Russia is a country with a great past, a worthy
present, and a promising future — one of the key messages of the exposition,
according to the guests.
"The
exposition must show that we are capable of great things and that we have a
future. Of course, many things we produce are also made elsewhere in the world,
but at the same time, our products are proudly represented on the global
market. And, of course, our country should know its heroes. The people working
in production are heroes too. The world is not just about resellers and
importers of foreign goods. We need to keep creating our own. When young people
and visitors from different regions come to the exposition, they will see that
we can produce everything ourselves. This is very important for developing self-awareness
and educating the younger generation," said Andrei Garms, Commercial
Director of Experimental Plant LLC.
The
exposition will allow people to see the country from a new perspective, and
many will make interesting and unexpected discoveries, according to the first
visitors.
"People
often have outdated or incorrect ideas about enterprises, industries, regions,
nature, and culture in different parts of the country. This exposition allows
visitors to truly understand what our country is today," noted Anton
Karasovidin, company representative of the Robot Factory.
The
"Journey Across Russia" exposition is divided into eight zones, each
representing one of Russia’s eight federal districts. Unique displays and
multimedia installations showcase the country's natural, cultural, and
historical diversity while highlighting its greatest achievements in science
and technology. Special attention is given to interactive elements, ensuring an
immersive experience in the unique atmosphere of the exposition.
The first
part of the "Journey Across Russia" project features the Gastronomic
Rows, where visitors of the National Centre RUSSIA can taste both traditional
and innovative dishes from across the country's diverse regions. Guests can
also enjoy themed festivals, master classes, and a rich cultural program.
The
exposition opens for free public access on March 5. Admission is granted on a
first-come, first-served basis or as part of guided tours, which can be booked
in advance on the website russia.ru or at the main information desk of the
National Centre RUSSIA.
