Monday is maintenance day
The National Centre RUSSIA will be closed to visitors on
Monday, 24 August, for scheduled maintenance work. This work is necessary to
maintain safety, comfort and service quality throughout the Centre.
The National Centre RUSSIA will reopen to guests on Tuesday, 25 August.
Visitors will have access to the permanent "Journey Across Russia"
exposition and the "Legacy. Theatre. The Greats" exposition,
dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Theatre Union of the Russian
Federation. Launched on 28 July, the project explores the world behind the
scenes, the people who create theatre and little-known chapters in the history
of Russian theatre. Admission to the exposition is free, while advance
registration on the russia.ru website is required for guided tours. Guests can
also use an audio guide created specially for the exposition and voiced by
theatre actors.
The Gastronomic Rows, serving regional cuisine, and the Department Store of the
National Centre RUSSIA, offering products from Russian manufacturers and traditional
crafts, are open at the National Centre RUSSIA.
All expositions and events are free of charge. Advance registration is required
for some events. Up-to-date information is available in the "Events"
section of the russia.ru website and on the National Centre RUSSIA social media pages.
