A maintenance break is scheduled at the National Centre RUSSIA on 31 August, the final day of summer. Staff will carry out routine equipment checks, update the exposition areas, service the interactive systems and perform maintenance work in the guest areas. All this work is intended to improve visitor comfort and safety, ensuring that every visit leaves only vivid impressions.

The Centre will resume its usual opening hours on 1 September and will be open from 10:00 to 20:00.

The permanent large-scale exposition "Journey Across Russia" is currently open at the National Centre RUSSIA. Visitors can discover the history and principal landmarks of every federal district, sample local delicacies at the Gastronomic Rows and visit the Centre's Department Store, which offers products from Russian brands, including groceries, sweets, cosmetics, jewellery, textiles, traditional crafts, souvenirs and much more.

The "Legacy. Theatre. The Greats" exposition, marking the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia, is also open at the Centre until 25 September. It brings together more than 600 exhibits. Visitors can see original sets, stage costumes, sketches, masks, props and rare archival materials, including posters, photographs and handwritten scripts. A distinctive feature of the exposition is the opportunity to go behind the scenes and discover the secrets of 17 theatrical professions, from actors and directors to make-up artists, prop makers and lighting technicians.

Admission to all the Centre's expositions and events is free. Advance registration is required for selected events. The latest schedule is published on social media and in the "Events" section of the russia.ru website.
