The stand of the Kirov region hosted creative masterclasses on painting clothes and ceramic items in the style of Dymkovo toys.
The stand hosted the Days of Beauty, Fashion and Style by Kirov designer Olga Tokmakova. There were a lot of people willing to paint clothing items and accessories in the style of Dymkovo painting. Fashionistas literally queued up to take part in the creative workshop and make a unique item under the guidance of designer and stylist Olga Tokmakova.
Kirov residents demonstrated to the guests the author's collection "Vyatka Beauty" with Dymkovo-style elements on clothes, held workshops with Dymkovo-style painting on T-shirts and kerchiefs. Some of them lasted for 2 hours. Also Olga Tokmakova told about the origins of the Dymkovo toy, showed different ways of tying the accessories that the girls painted.
"The participants of our workshops were delighted! Some came to us for several masterclasses, took a queue from the previous day, were just happy to meet us, saying that this was the best creative workshop! Those who couldn't make it to our masterclasses asked when we would come again said it was a cool idea to paint things that we also give away as presents. And people came to the appointed time of the next masterclass," shared Olga Tokmakova.
According to her, the girls left with painted T-shirts and kerchiefs happy and satisfied, and recorded cool video feedback. "We unlocked people's creative potential, energized them. The girls learned about the Dymkovo toy, and why I decided to create this particular collection with Dymkovo-style drawings," Tokmakova added.
Also, at the stand of the Kirov region Maria Shulert, the founder of the Neptune pottery studio, held a masterclass on painting ceramic items. Maria is the winner of the "First Young Startup" award on the "First City Channel" (Kirov). The guests of the stand tried themselves as ceramists, learned the basics of Dymkovo painting and received memorable gifts.
