There is not much time left until the end of the RUSSIA EXPO, but there is still a lot of interesting things waiting for guests. Including floral expositions of all regions of the country, which can be seen at the "Space" pavilion.

WATERCOLOR SUNSETS. ZABAYKALSKY REGION

In its flowerbed, the Zabaykalsky region decided to express the beauty and diversity of its nature. That is why the composition is based on the image of mountain ranges surrounded by flowers. Unique plant species, which are represented on this flowerbed, are vulnerable and require special protection and attention. And mountains personify greatness and power, purposefulness and spiritual uplift. With the help of this composition the authors draw attention to environmental problems and motivate to take care of nature for future generations.

Looking at the flowerbed, guests can notice delicate wildflowers and plants: Veronica spicata, common heather, Carpathian bellflower, meadowsweet, sedge and ornamental onion, as well as lavender.

BY THE LIGHT WATER. KOMI REPUBLIC

The floral composition of the Republic is dedicated to the largest national park of the Northern and Subpolar Urals "Yugyd Va", which means "light water" in Komi Zyrian. The park is part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site "Virgin Forests of Komi".

The flowerbed is designed to convey the rugged beauty of the northern region with its vast taiga expanses, thousands of crystal clear lakes, and unique untouched nature. In the centre you can see replicas of relic lakes of the Ice Age. The water in the reservoir with a rocky bottom is clean and transparent, and in it, as in a mirror, plants typical for the flora of the Komi Republic, such as spruce and pine trees, rose and raspberry, planted along the shore, are reflected.

A bright accent is the sculptural image of a girl's head, made in the characteristic technique of stone carving. For some people this girl is a symbol of the Mother of Peace (Zarni An), depicted on the state emblem of the Republic, and some people will see in the female image of St. Paraskeva Friday, especially revered by the Komi peoples.

RISING SUN. REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA

Mordovia is a beautiful land of steppes and lakes, and a quarter of its territory is occupied by forests where oaks, ash trees, maples, elms, birches, spruces and pines grow. The floral exposition in many ways epitomizes the natural diversity of the region, as well as the rich cultural heritage and unity of ethnic groups. The image of the republic is presented in the form of a rising sun, symbolizing warmth, kindness and openness.IMAGE_4dfa25cd-1f88-4a10-b374-fdc46b34a868#

The floral symbol of the republic is lungwort, the main decoration of forests in spring. It is also a valuable medicinal and ornamental plant, a wonderful early honey plant. Lungwort blooms very early in our forests and flowers for a long time. Even at the beginning of summer, you can still see its bright blue and pink flowers.
