Ambassador of Victory from Samara visited the National Centre RUSSIA as part of the "Routes of Victory" project
On 23 August the National Centre RUSSIA welcomed special guests — Alexander Nikitin from Samara, winner of a competition under the "Routes of Victory" project, and his mother Yulia. For Alexander, participant of the All-Russian gathering "Ambassadors of Victory", the excursion trip to Moscow became an unexpected gift won in a random draw among the volunteers of the gathering.
At the exposition "Journey Across Russia", Alexander Nikitin and his mother discovered the key achievements, innovative developments, and cultural, natural and historical landmarks of all federal districts of the country. It was Alexander’s second visit to the exposition, and he is convinced that each time it reveals something new to its visitors.
"The National Centre RUSSIA showcased the country from a slightly different perspective. Here one can immerse oneself in the atmosphere of all regions, feel it, touch it, smell it. For young people this is especially important: after all, history is perceived by them through emotions, tactility, scents. What impressed me most was the story about Murmansk — now I dream of visiting this city in person. And in November we definitely want to go to St Petersburg — to make my mother’s dream come true," shared Alexander Nikitin.
For Yulia Nikitina, the mother of the winner, the trip was her first acquaintance with the capital and a unique opportunity to share the joy of discoveries with her son.
"I am delighted with the exposition and with the ideas that are implemented here. Everything here is new to me, and everything is very interesting. I would recommend my friends to come to this exposition and to visit Moscow, as very few of them have been here yet," said Yulia Nikitina.
The guests also visited the educational career-guidance space "Space of Opportunities", created to develop media literacy, digital culture, patriotism, and creative potential through practice, new technologies and inspiring communication.
"Here the National Centre RUSSIA opens up from a new side — from the side of artificial intelligence. I think this is the most relevant aspect for young people now. Here you can immerse yourself in the whole IT system, understand how it works and integrate into it smoothly," added Alexander Nikitin.
Ahead for the guests from Samara was a sightseeing tour of Moscow, where they would see iconic landmarks and gain new impressions.
The "Routes of Victory" project was developed jointly by the National Centre RUSSIA and the National Exhibition Centre "BelExpo". The draw for a free trip for two along the excursion and educational route dedicated to the heroic pages of the country’s history was organised by the National Centre RUSSIA together with the Movement of the First. For travellers of the "Routes of Victory" various tour durations are available. The packages include excursion programmes with a professional guide, transfers, meals and hotel accommodation.
Detailed information about the "Routes of Victory" project and its routes is available on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA.
