Leningrad region invites you to take part in races and relax in nature
The Leningrad region boasts one of the most attractive
stands at the Exposition. Guests come here to try out a spectacular racing
stimulator, play at an interactive table or enjoy the beauty of nature.
The Leningrad region is a developed economy, beautiful
nature and many cultural attractions. All this is reflected in the exposition
of the region. First of all, the attention is attracted by the simulator of
racing cars of the Igora-Drive autodrome. By the way, the car models are
constantly changing, but the opportunity to drive on a virtual track and
experience a real adrenaline rush remains. This attraction is one of the most
favorite among the guests of the Exposition.
And both adults and children enjoy assembling the
constructor on a special interactive table. Everyone can recreate famous
industrial objects and cultural sights from cubes. For example, the Vyborg
Castle. By the way, thanks to special technology, the completed models
literally "come to life", and a video with a presentation appears on
the screen so that guests can learn more about the region.
A special pride of the region is its nature. There are about
1800 lakes, the largest of them and the biggest in Europe is Ladoga Lake. And
most of the territory of the region is occupied by dense forests, including
specially protected natural areas of federal significance and wetlands of
international importance. For example, the state nature reserve of regional
importance "Lindulovskaya Grove" and part of the territory of the
nature monument "Koltushskaya Elevation" are included in the UNESCO
World Heritage Site.
That is why the stand has a real nature corner: a river with
a bridge, a lake shore with stones on which it is so convenient to sit down and
rest, and at the same time admire the beautiful views that change each other on
a huge screen.
During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
