The holidays continue: the main New Year tree of the National Centre RUSSIA welcomes guests until February 1
Although
the New Year holidays have ended, the festive season at the National Centre
RUSSIA will last until February 1. Guests can enjoy traditional New Year
activities, a market featuring goods from all over Russia, and, of course, the
main New Year tree of the National Centre, which has become a favorite
decoration for holiday photoshoots among visitors of all ages.
Throughout
the New Year season, the magnificent tree has greeted visitors to the National
Centre at the entrance to the expositions in the foyer on the second floor. Its
festive decorations symbolize the revival of traditions, connecting the rich
historical legacy of our country with its present.
The tree is
adorned with sparkling lights and unique ornaments that reflect the generosity
of the Russian soul. Crowning it is a luxurious kokoshnik — a symbol of
national identity and a vivid example of the traditional jewelry and applied
arts of the peoples of Russia.
"Traditional
Russian motifs can be used in unconventional yet stylish ways, even when
decorating a New Year tree," noted Daria Abdykadyrova, the decorator of
the New Year tree at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Throughout
the New Year holidays, numerous workshops and other events were held near the
main Christmas tree, and children of all ages joyfully danced in circles around
it.
Hurry to
visit the New Year locations, take memorable photos, and enjoy the festive
atmosphere until February 1. All New Year activities, as well as other events
at the Centre, are free of charge, though some may require prior registration.
The festive program is available on the website russia.ru.
