Representatives of the BRICS countries visited the RUSSIA EXPO
The
International RUSSIA EXPO hosted a tour for representatives of the BRICS
countries. Parliamentarians and ambassadors from Brazil, Russia, India, China,
South African Republic, Egypt, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia got
acquainted with regional stands and visited the ATOM Pavilion.
"Representatives
of the BRICS countries were able to see the whole of Russia at the RUSSIA EXPO,
the diversity of its culture, the economic potential of the regions, as well as
ample opportunities for the realization of human potential in our
country," said Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council
Committee on International Affairs.
As part of
the tour, the delegates visited the expositions of the Nizhny Novgorod,
Saratov, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk and other regions. They also visited the stands of
the Far East and Siberia regions.
Visiting
the Exposition is part of the program of the meeting of the chairmen of the
International Affairs Committees of the parliaments (chambers of parliaments)
of the BRICS countries, which is taking place in Moscow on April 11-12. It is
held within the framework of Russia's chairmanship in the organization. The
chairmen of the BRICS Parliamentary Committees on International Affairs have
already met with the leaders of the chambers of the Federal Assembly of the
Russian Federation, as well as held a series of bilateral meetings and working
sessions of parliamentarians.
One of the tracks of the Open Dialogue is "Investments in Human Capital." The pitch session on this topic brought together over 30 speakers.
One of the key topics for discussion within the initiative became "Investments in Connectivity," which attracted 24% of the essay authors about the future of the world.
The pitch sessions on four tracks took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on April 28, with the participation of authors whose essays were selected by the expert council of the National Centre.
