On December 12, the opening of the Studio of the Expert Institute for Social Research and the presentation of sociological data on visitors' perception of the exposition took place at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
The presentation was attended by Anna Fedulkina, Executive Director of EISR, member of the Russian Association for Public Relations (RAPR); Victor Poturemsky, Director of Political Analysis at INSOMAR Institute of Social Marketing; Ivan Gruzdev, Director of Internal Research and Academic Development of Students, Director of the Center for Sociology of Higher Education at the Institute of Education of the NRU HSE; and Gleb Kuznetsov, Head of the Expert Council of EISR. The discussion was moderated by Nikita Setov, Deputy Director General of the Polylog Consulting Group.
According to the research of the NRU HSE, the most common emotions of citizens after visiting an exposition are pride, joy, surprise, pleasure and interest.
97% of respondents stated that they felt proud of the achievements presented at the RUSSIA EXPO. The exposition inspires confidence and faith in the future - this is the opinion of 93% of respondents.
The exposition forms an image of the future in the eyes of Russians and demonstrates Russia's confident position in technological development. According to respondents, today is a difficult, challenging time, and after visiting the exposition there is confidence that the country is moving in the right direction.
"The exposition is an opportunity for everyone to look at themselves and the country from the outside, to see the results of development online. Confidence and pride are a good foundation for thinking about the future and shaping it", — Gleb Kuznetsov emphasized.
The majority of respondents (91%) learned something new while visiting the RUSSIA EXPO. 87% of respondents noted the high quality of the exposition's events.
"85% of respondents said that they really liked the content of the exposition. I must say that my colleagues from the Higher School of Economics and I conduct many different surveys at different events, and this is probably the first time I see such a figure", — said Ivan Gruzdev.
In addition, 85% of respondents recommend visiting the exposition to other people, more than 14% of respondents have already visited the exposition several times.
Experts note that the RUSSIA EXPO has become a notable event in the political and cultural life of the country, and the organizers have managed to achieve informal popularity of the event. A significant part of the flow of visitors comes on the recommendation of friends and relatives. Respondents note that the state has given each region an opportunity to present its achievements, to make a statement and to remind about itself.
"The RUSSIA EXPO lives exactly on the level of everyday language and everyday practices; in this sense it is a very important event for people... There is very high awareness, very high interest in this event. People find the answer to the image of the future here", — said Victor Poturemsky. Visiting the exposition allows you to see the opportunities for self-realization of young people in Russia - this is the opinion of 93% of respondents. "There are a lot of interesting things for children, schoolchildren, young people here. The activities and events are different, and every child, teenager or young person who comes to the exposition can feel themselves more than just a visitor, but an important guest. And I think they all see an opportunity for personal self-realization", — said Anna Fedulkina.
