The Angara region presented new achievements for the RUSSIA EXPO
New contenders from the Irkutsk region have been presented on the "Achievements.RF" portal. Among them are a robot to help the disabled and a unique museum "Taltsy".
The Irkutsk region presented five new projects on the portal "Achievements.RF": a robot assistant, a film festival and museum, a cultural center and a children’s park. A total of 10 candidates are now participating in the voting for the title of the main achievement of the region.
"The task of the all-Russian voting is to identify the best achievements of the country in the opinion of ordinary residents. The Irkutsk region’s projects that will receive the most votes will be presented at the region’s stand at the International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH", — said Igor Kobzev, the Governor of the Irkutsk region.
He reminded that the voting will continue until the end of October and urged residents to vote more actively for the most significant projects. For example, you can support the creation of Irkutsk scientists — a robot for loading a wheelchair into a passenger car from the driver’s door to the trunk. The peculiarity of the project is that the process can be controlled from the driver’s seat. This means that people with disabilities are able to drive cars.
Among the cultural projects the highlight are the architectural and ethnographic museum "Taltsy" and the Baikal International Film Festival named after V.G. Rasputin "Man and Nature". Its task is to form a responsible attitude to ecology through art.
In addition, you can vote for the Center of Slavic Culture "Siberian Silk" and the Children’s Educational Park "Vinogradovskoye Podvorye".
The lecture "Come and See: The Feat of Newsreel Cameramen during the Great Patriotic War" took place as part of the "Thursday. Development".
The centre has become the first, unique, and multifunctional exhibition venue in Belarus, operated by the National Exhibition Centre "BelExpo."
On May 8, the audience at the National Centre RUSSIA enjoyed a performance by a combined children's wind orchestra, which launched the festive concert programme.
