In the days of Christmastide, which are celebrated in Russia, we will organize traditional Buryat fortune-telling on ram's bones.

The culture of fortune-telling dates back at least 6 thousand years. During excavations such bones for fortune-telling are found everywhere: in different nations, on a vast territory, in settlements and in burials. The Buryats and Mongols have another ancient tradition connected with the ram's shoulder bone - the cracks on the bone scorched over the fire are used to predict the fate of a person.

The traditional dish of Buryat and Mongolian peoples "buuzy" will be presented by the best guide of Russia Darima Togosheeva.

Participants of the masterclass from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Buryatia will be offered to mold their own buuzy from artificial material as a souvenir.

To make buuzy they use mutton, beef, horse meat, pork in various combinations. A traditional recipe consists of minced meat, onions, spices and dough. Buuzy are cooked on steam in a special pot - "poznitsa". A distinctive feature is the broth inside each buuza. That's why it's right to eat buuzy like this: you take a small bite without turning the buuzy upside down, drink all the broth, and then finish the rest. Buuzy are eaten solely with the hands, without using cutlery.
