The Primorsky region is set to present its main achievements at the EXPO

At the International RUSSIA EXPO the region is ready to show the development dynamics of Primorye over the previous six years.

"It is planned that the exposition will be addressed to the three generations — children, young people and adults. We have a lot to be proud of, thus, we are going not only to present Primorye as a popular vacation spot, but also demonstrate the benefits of living here", — stressed Andrew Blokhin, the Minister of Economic Development for the region.

Numerous events held annually in Primorye will be presented at the expo. There are various festivals of Far Eastern cuisine, a race on bridges of Vladivostok and the ice semi-marathon, the International jazz fest and the film festival "Pacific Meridian" among them.

Part of the exposition will be devoted to the cultural and educational complex located on the Russkiy island, the museum and theater complex placed on the Eagle’s Nest hill as well as the ski resort in Arsenyev, the medical center of the Far East Federal University, "Ocean" All-Russian Children’s center and the "Primorye" entertainment resort.

In addition to that, the special attention at the expo will also be focused on development of the economy of the region including industry and implementation of major investment projects.

"Our region is rapidly developing, new plants and seaports are being built. We are holding the leadership in the Federal District in the agro-industrial complex, setting records in agriculture and increasing fish production. All these projects have become possible in our region Primorye also due to the various arrangements for business support. We are going to proclaim it at the expo-show as well", — stated Andrew Blokhin.
