A declaration of love for the whole country, through the eyes of young journalists
The III All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts" brought together couples from across Russia and abroad. Alongside federal and regional media outlets, the event also received coverage from graduates of the Young Journalists School of the National Centre RUSSIA.
Reporter Marika Bashkirova and camera operator and editor Tikhon Chibisov spent the day with the couples, producing a heartfelt report filled with genuine emotion. The newlyweds shared with the aspiring media professionals the stories of how they met, the challenges they overcame to be together, and why they chose to register their marriage on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity at the festival.
Although the first intake of the Young Journalists School has now graduated, its
alumni continue to cover the flagship events of the National Centre RUSSIA.
This autumn, the school will once again welcome a new cohort of students and,
for the first time, launch an online programme. Teenagers from across the
country will be able to learn the fundamentals of journalism, develop their
talents and gain practical reporting experience.
