Registration for the II All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts" extended

The National Centre RUSSIA announces the extension of the application deadline for participation in the II All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts." Couples from all regions of the country have received an additional opportunity to become part of the festival, the grand opening of which will take place on July 8. On this day, dozens of loving couples will formalise their unions in simultaneous marriage ceremonies.

Applications can be submitted for any day of the festival. According to current legislation, a mandatory one-month period must pass between the date of application and the date of the wedding ceremony. Those wishing to get married, must submit their application no later than June 7.

The festival will take place from July 8 to 10 and will feature themed concerts with popular Russian performers, excursions to historical sites, expositions showcasing the beauty of national wedding traditions, as well as meetings with fascinating guests.

Special attention will be given to the rich cultural legacy of our country, revealed through the diversity of wedding rituals of Russia’s peoples. The highlight of the event will be a grand gala concert featuring the country’s top creative ensembles.

The festival programme will begin with a romantic cruise on decorated passenger boats along the scenic Moscow River. After the river cruise, the couples will proceed in a ceremonial procession from the quay to the entrance of the National Centre RUSSIA, where the main event will take place – the collective marriage ceremony. The celebration will conclude with a large-scale concert and a touching family hearth ceremony, symbolising the continuity of generations.

Participation in the ceremonial wedding registration requires meeting an important condition — each couple must incorporate elements of traditional national dress into their wedding attire, highlighting the diversity of the cultural traditions of our country.

Applications with photographs can be submitted via the official website of the National Centre RUSSIA, the "Gosuslugi" portal, or by sending documents by email to the Moscow Civil Registry Office (zags@mos.ru). Participants will be selected on a competitive basis by a joint commission of the Moscow Civil Registry Office and the National Centre RUSSIA.

The All-Russian Wedding Festival, first held in 2024 as part of the International RUSSIA EXPO, has already become a cherished tradition and a significant event in the cultural life of the country. Last year, 151 couples formalised their unions during the festival, and some families created at the I All-Russian Wedding Festival have already welcomed new additions — a particularly symbolic moment for a celebration dedicated to family values.

The II All-Russian Wedding Festival is held with the support of the Moscow Government, the Moscow Civil Registry Office, and the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives (PFCI).
