Products of the Caucasus: Alexander Novak presented the first certificates to the program participants
The program of voluntary certification of local producers Products of the Caucasus was launched in 2023 by the Kavkaz.RF Development Institute together with Roskachestvo. The project was launched in the fall of this year and has already collected more than 50 applications - including from artisans, agricultural producers and industrialists.
At the RUSSIA EXPO, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak presented the first certificates to the program participants.
"Each region in our country is distinctive, has its own unique products, which it is rightfully proud of. And today it is not only known and popular in the market, but is also an integral part of increasing the region's tourist and investment attractiveness. The President of Russia has set a task to better promote regional brands in the domestic market. Such projects as the Products of the Caucasus certification system increase the region's recognizability and help small and medium-sized businesses find their consumers in different parts of the country", — said Alexander Novak.
The first Products of the Caucasus certificates were awarded to the executives of Mezhgul Carpet Factory LLC (Republic of Dagestan), Poultry Complex Yuzhny LLC (Republic of Ingushetia), Sady Baksana LLC (Kabardino-Balkar Republic), Khabezsky Gypsum Plant OJSC (Karachay-Cherkess Republic), Master Prime. Berezka Agro-Industrial Holding LLC (Republic of North Ossetia-Alania), Solnechniy Dar LLC (Stavropol region), Chechen Mineral Waters LLC (Chechen Republic).
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the entire period of the exposition, guests will be welcomed with cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. The exposition will run at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 until April 12.
Its central theme was the development of visual culture through educational projects, public spaces and new approaches to environmental design.
The Summer Expert Meetings will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA in July.
Experts from the Centre for Cross-Industry Expertise "Third Rome" analysed the discussions and essays submitted by participants in the April event.
