The Russia National Centre project to be presented on Global Exhibitions Day
The concept and development plans for the Russia National
Centre will be presented on June 4 on Global Exhibitions Day, which will be
celebrated at the International RUSSIA EXPO. The event aims to preserve the
legacy of the Exposition and showcase the country's achievements in various
economic sectors. The main idea of the centre is to create the future: a unique
format that will be used for the first time, complemented by content that opens
development paths for every citizen of the country.
In preparing the concept of the centre, its authors studied
the best practices of creating public spaces and points of attraction,
including relying on the rich exposition tradition of our country, noted the
Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO Natalia Virtuozova. According to her, the
project takes into account the unique experience gained from holding the
Exposition.
"The RUSSIA EXPO is a unique project that has become a
grand phenomenon not only for our country but for the entire world, allowing us
all to look into the future together. The creation of the future will be the
theme of the Russia National Centre, which will be established on the orders of
President Vladimir Putin. It is symbolic that we are presenting it on Global
Exhibitions Day - our project can rightfully be considered a new word in the
industry that will go down in history. The achievements presented here will
become the heritage of every citizen of our country," said Natalia
Virtuozova.
The creation of the Russia National Centre in Moscow with
branches in the regions was one of the directives from President Vladimir
Putin. According to the document, the center will be established "in order
to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO and to showcase the
achievements of the Russian Federation in various economic sectors."
The program for celebrating Global Exhibitions Day will
include thematic sessions dedicated to event tourism, the history of
expositions in Russia, and other topics. In particular, leaders in the event
industry will share personal success stories in their professions. In addition,
lectures and masterclasses will be organized for the RUSSIA EXPO guests.
The documentary "Life in the Profession", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of an outstanding cameraman Anatoly Zabolotsky, was shown at the National Centre RUSSIA on July 1.
Very this day one year ago, on July 1, the decree of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the establishment of the National Centre RUSSIA was signed.
On July 2 and 3, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the Forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age". The Forum will include sessions and presentations of the best projects.
