100 thousand professionals — this is exactly the number of IT-designers that the country lacks at the moment. These figures were announced by representatives of DOM.RF during the presentation of the project "TIM-designer" at the RUSSIA EXPO.

TIM-designer is a specialty at the intersection of construction and IT, one of the most in-demand professions in the construction industry. From January 1, 2022, all construction under state contracts is carried out only with the use of digital modeling. And from July 2024, the entire construction industry must switch to TIM. However, at the moment only 13% of developers in the regions know how to use the technology.

The DOM.RF Digital Academy offers students of grades 8-11 and college students to take a free online course "TIM-designer" and get a profession with excellent prospects.

"The launch of the "TIM-designer" course opens the way for young people to understand and participate in the digital transformation of construction. This course does not just respond to the current demand, but is also a long-term investment in laying the foundation for a highly skilled workforce and the introduction of advanced technologies in the industry", — said Alexander Lukyanov, Director of Housing Digitalization at DOM.RF.

Each participant will be able to get acquainted with the profession, work one day with a designer from the construction company PIK, immerse in the work of a specialist in theory and in practice, communicate with representatives of the profession, build a TIM-model of a real house.

The course is completely free of charge and is part of the line of educational projects "Professions of the Future in Construction", implemented by DOM.RF with the participation of the Humanitarian Projects Fund (the "Ticket to the Future" project).
