A walk through the "Forest of Kostroma stories" will be possible at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Kostroma region along with other regions of the country is preparing for the International RUSSIA EXPO, which will start on the Day of National Unity at VDNH. The region will present its exposition in the form of a unique "Forest of Kostroma stories".
The Kostroma region promises to introduce the guests of the exposition with the main successes in the spheres of industry, agriculture and science, as well as to reveal the tourist potential of the region. One of the main riches of the region is the pristine spruce taiga. To preserve it, a unique reserve "Kologriva Forest" was created. In addition, the timber industry is also actively developing in the region.
"The timber industry remains one of the most system-forming branches of economy for the Kostroma region, including budget-forming and in terms of employment. Projects of deep processing of wood are realized in the Kostroma region", — said the director of the department of economic development of the Kostroma region Alexander Svistunov.
It is not surprising that the region decided to decorate its exposition like a forest. Each tree of the stand "Forest of Kostroma stories" will be devoted to separate achievements and industries. For example, shipbuilding or production of car components. The region will also present its jewelry craft, because it is here that every second gold and silver ornament in the country is made. The textile industry tree will also grow in the "Forest of Kostroma stories".
And to make the acquaintance with the stand memorable for all the guests of the exposition, an interactive excursion is available together with the famous heroes: Snegurochka, Ivan Susanin and Lady Kostroma.
