Check your health and get medical advice: Useful activities at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Health Week is taking place at the St. Petersburg stand. On Saturday and Sunday, February 3-4, everyone can undergo a medical checkup and get individual recommendations from doctors.
The Health Day at the International RUSSIA EXPO is interesting and lively. Guests measure saturation, check eyesight, diagnose their health on all possible parameters. It is especially crowded at the St. Petersburg exposition, where a whole week is devoted to health. Therefore, it is not surprising that for several days now instead of the usual volunteers, visitors are met by medics in white coats.
"Here you can measure sugar without an injection, the level of oxygen in the blood, and blood pressure, of course. I, an elderly person, always try to keep track of such things. I came to the exposition and checked my health at the same time: my blood pressure is perfect, I could go to space, but my sugar is slightly elevated," Valentina Korotkova shares her impressions.
Senior visitors are really happy to undergo diagnostics. And young people are also coming up. They are more interested in the opportunity to assess the quality of the body: to measure the percentage of fat and muscle, bone density, water balance with the help of special scales, on which you need to stand barefoot. After the measurement, the "patient" receives a printout with all the data, as well as a small consultation.
And it will also be useful for young people to know what will happen if you do not take care of your eyesight. Putting on virtual reality glasses, the guests see different pictures through the eyes of people who have different vision disorders: from glaucoma to astigmatism.
It should be reminded that the exposition dedicated to health will be available until the end of the week. In addition to medical diagnostics, the stand regularly holds masterclasses on first aid, as well as dance exercises. All participants of the activities are given useful gifts: pillboxes, sanitizers and resistance bands.
The event brought together 150 participants, including teachers of Russian and other languages of the peoples of Russia, students from media classes, and members of literary clubs from Moscow and other regions.
One of the key topics on the second day was caring for schoolchildren's health, emotional wellbeing and safety.
The National Centre RUSSIA studies the best world practices and advanced technologies in culture, media and other fields.
