Putin at the National Centre RUSSIA: "What should I tell Trump?"
President
Vladimir Putin asked participants of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives forum
an unexpected question: "What could I pass on to the US President from
you?"
This
happened on July 3 at the National Centre RUSSIA during the plenary session of
the "Strong Ideas for a New Era" forum. The President announced that
he had a scheduled telephone conversation with Donald Trump and turned to the
audience with a smile, asking for suggestions.
"A
conversation with the US President was planned. If nothing interferes, it will
take place. What should I tell him?" he said, concluding his speech.
Before the
session began, Vladimir Putin, together with the ASI Director General Svetlana
Chupsheva and VEB.RF Head Igor Shuvalov, visited the "Know Ours"
competition exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA — a showcase of strong
domestic brands.
The forum
took place over two days, July 2–3. It was organised by the Agency for
Strategic Initiatives, the Roscongress Foundation and VEB.RF. The National
Centre RUSSIA became a platform for dialogue about future scenarios for the
country's development and support for ideas capable of changing people's lives
today.
On July 24, the Seventh Eurasian Aerospace Congress — the largest industry forum in the Eurasian space — will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
