St. Petersburg's exposition has started its work at the International RUSSIA EXPO. The program of the stand is planned by seasons dedicated to different themes. Each season shows the uniqueness of the city from a new angle.

The first week of the exposition, from November 4 to November 12, is dedicated to the history of the city and the people who made it famous. On the central screen of the St. Petersburg exposition there is an interactive city map with sights built at the time of its founder Peter the Great, modern projects and images from the future.

Visitors to the stand are invited to historical workshops and other activities. At one of the workshops you can feel like a real archaeologist. The program is called "Archaeology of St. Petersburg: Fragments and Artifacts". Participants will be told how the first excavations in the Northern Capital took place, how the most interesting finds were made, and even taught how to make an inventory of artifacts. It is especially interesting that the antiquities are studied with the help of the latest technologies. And afterwards they promise memorable gifts!

A special something has been prepared for schoolchildren. This is an interactive game "Five Peters", dedicated to the main interests of the first Russian emperor: military affairs, state administration, navy, science, entertainment. At each stage the participants will meet Peter himself in a tsar's costume.

Another exciting opportunity is a trivia quiz devoted to the toponymics of St. Petersburg: where did the name of Hare Island come from and how is the Field of Mars connected with Rome?

Of course, the exposition presented recognizable exhibits that everyone has heard of. That's why one of the mottos of the stand is "Start your trip to St. Petersburg with the RUSSIA EXPO". One of the exhibits is Chizhik-Pyzhik, which you will first have to find and then make a wish by rubbing its beak. Another attraction is the Hares of the Peter and Paul Fortress. According to the legend, the hare is running away from the flood. You can help it get up, and take a picture while at it.

Children will surely like the interactive ball installed at the entrance to the exposition. With its help you can learn about all the most exciting things that are offered at the stand. It is interesting and easy to use.
