"Joy and wonder": schoolchildren shared their emotions after a tour of the "Journey Across Russia" exposition
First-year
students from Moscow schools visited the large-scale exposition "Journey
Across Russia" at the National Centre RUSSIA as part of tour groups. The
children were introduced to the natural riches of our country and the
achievements of federal districts. The schoolchildren particularly noted the
interactive items that they could touch and activate.
A young
visitor to the National Centre RUSSIA, Margarita Molofeyeva, shared her
impressions of the concluding area of the exposition "Journey Across
Russia." There, the first-year students entered their names on an
interactive panel and signed electronic hearts, which became part of a large
electronic heart dedicated to Russia.
"I
liked it most where we signed the hearts and they appeared on the screen, it
was really great," noted Margarita Molofeyeva.
In the
location dedicated to the Sochi Olympic Games, the children cheered for the
Russian team as an entire class, controlling an interactive object with the
volume of their voices.
Exposition
visitor Yekaterina Khomutova appreciated the opportunity to enter inside a
KAMAZ, presented in the zone of the Volga Federal District. It is an exact
model of a real vehicle with a 5D cinema inside, where one can feel the
off-road ride.
"Wonder
and joy! I really liked everything a lot!" shared Yekaterina Khomutova.
In the
Volga Federal District zone, schoolchildren virtually painted a traditional
Dymkovo toy, transforming an enlarged model of a horse into their unique art
object.
"It
was cool, we had to choose a pattern and color, and click on the horse,"
said Margarita.
In the
locations dedicated to the North Caucasus, guests of the National Centre RUSSIA
examined unique ancestral towers of the region and visited the liana forest of
Russia, where they swung on swings among whimsical plants and even experienced
the microclimate of the forest area.
"Music
was playing, and there was a green light shining from above, and water was
sprayed, I really liked that too," said Margarita.
Traveling
through the Urals, the children met the main character of Ural legends, the
Mistress of the Copper Mountain, and learned all about mountain gemstones.
The
exposition "Journey Across Russia" showcases cultural, natural, and
historical attractions, main achievements, and innovative developments of all
the federal districts of the country. Entry to the exposition is free as part
