Paint your own roly-poly doll at a workshop at the National Centre RUSSIA!
The National Centre RUSSIA invites you to bring a touch of
New Year fairy tale into your home with something made by your own hands. A
series of New Year workshops dedicated to creating festive crafts is starting
in the venue. One of them will be a workshop on painting roly-poly dolls in the
traditional Russian folk style. Guests of the National Centre RUSSIA will be
invited to bring their own version of the legendary toy to life during the
painting workshop. The creative session will take place on 7 December from
12:00 to 13:10. You can register for the event in the "Events"
section on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA.
Anyone aged
six and older can make their own bright and cheerful roly-poly doll. This
is an opportunity to learn the basics of decorative art and to create a toy
that will become a unique decoration for your home or a gift for your loved
ones. Experienced tutors will explain how to apply motifs from famous Russian
folk crafts to the doll, and will also tell participants the history of the
roly-poly doll.
Come and
create together with your family or friends to fill the upcoming holiday with
bright colours and festive spirit!
If you are
unable to attend at the appointed time, the organiser reserves the right to
offer your place to another guest.
To avoid
any inconvenience, please arrive at the west entrance (accreditation desk) of
the National Centre RUSSIA 10–15 minutes before the start of the event.
A child under 14 must be registered and may attend the
workshop only when accompanied by a parent and/or legal guardian. From the age
