"Reality differs from the media image": guest from Zambia shared his impressions of Russia at the National Centre
International guests from all over the world visit the National Centre RUSSIA as part of major international events. For many of them, this is their first time discovering our country. Christopher Moola Moola from Zambia shared his impressions.
"Russia is a very beautiful country with developed infrastructure. The same can be said about the National Centre. It hosts very important events, and everything is organised at the highest level. It’s a wonderful place. The weather in Moscow is lovely — I thought it would be very cold here, but it’s warm, similar to the climate back home," said Christopher Moola Moola.
According to him, being in the country in person helped him gain a broader and deeper understanding, and form an objective opinion.
"What we hear in the news broadcasts shapes a certain perception, but when you are here in person, you understand that reality is completely different from the media image. What is shown on television and what you see with your own eyes are two entirely different things. We visited the historical museum to learn about the origins of the Russian state and its founders. We saw works of art that helped us form an image of Russia," Christopher Moola Moola explained.
He emphasised that the visit to Moscow and the National Centre RUSSIA was a valuable experience for him.
Participants shared stories about the traditions and memorable places of their Motherland with compatriots and peers from abroad.
