The regions of the Ural Federal District have started assembling stands for the RUSSIA EXPO
The Sverdlovsk, the Chelyabinsk, the Tyumen regions, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area have started to assemble their stands for the International RUSSIA EXPO.
Five regions of the Ural Federal District are already assembling their stands, and the Kurgan region plans to start assembling them in the nearest future. The work should be finished by October 23. Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yakushev noted that the subjects of the UFD have prepared worthy expositions, that will certainly be appreciated by the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO.
"Our common task is to make people from all over Russia and other countries fall in love with the Ural Federal District. To interest them in the industrial and tourist potential of the Urals and Western Siberia. To surprise them with original culture and traditions. Our regions have all the opportunities for this", — emphasized Yakushev.
For example, the stand of the Sverdlovsk region is stylized as a metallurgical plant from the time of the Demidovs. And at the Tyumen stand one can learn unusual facts about the region. The acquaintance with Yugra will take place in the format of an exciting quest. And the guests of the Chelyabinsk exposition will enjoy virtual tours around the region’s industrial enterprises and get acquainted with the robot android FEDOR.
The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area will show a multimedia installation about the life of the region, allow guests to control natural phenomena and see the northern lights. One of the main elements of the stand of the Kurgan region will be the Tsaryovo Gorodishche Fortress, which served as the most important defense point of the Russian state in Western Siberia.
The RUSSIA EXPO will be held by the order of the President of Russia from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. All 89 regions of the country, as well as federal agencies, state corporations and foreign countries will participate in it.
In anticipation of Easter, the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA has prepared a wide range of themed items and gifts for visitors.
The children's workshop "Houses and Little Homes in the City" was held on 19 April at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The large-scale international project Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA from 28 to 30 April 2025.
