Russian regions were acknowledged for their contribution to the new stage and the updating of the Exposition

The International RUSSIA EXPO acknowledged the contribution of the regions in updating the Exposition and launching its new stage dedicated to the country's future.

Sergei Kiriyenko, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Exposition, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Executive Office of the President of the Russian Federation, noted the efforts of regional teams in creating and updating the RUSSIA EXPO unique exposition.

"The RUSSIA EXPO is about dreams, about the future. The burning eyes of visitors are to your credit. In order to convey a dream, you have to dream yourself. And to convey a sense of pride, you have to be proud yourself. And I want to express my deepest gratitude to you: you give your heart and soul to this Exposition. Your teams have conveyed their love for the region to millions of visitors. And even those people who have never been to your regions before come out in love with it and dream of visiting it. This is incredibly important," Sergei Kiriyenko said and presented the statuettes.

He also noted that based on the results of visiting the RUSSIA EXPO, 98% of the guests emphasize that they experienced a sense of pride for their country. In turn, 97% say that they had an increased sense of optimism.

Thus, awards for the best exposition update were given to St. Petersburg, the Kursk and Ryazan regions. The Chuvash Republic was awarded in the nomination "The Best Start of the Cultural Program". The Republic of Crimea, Stavropol and Kirov regions received awards for the best sports start.

The Amur region received a prize for the best thematic excursion program, and the Belgorod region was awarded for the best work with organized groups of children. The Kaluga region received an award for the best informational support of the launch of the new stage of the Exposition.

The Lipetsk region was awarded for the best sales and active participation in the Department Store project, and the Primorye region stood out in the "Best Start of the Gastronomic Program" nomination. The Krasnodar region received a special nomination "Second Breath" for the active start of work during the RUSSIA EXPO exposition updating period.

Prizes in the "Best Creative Team" nomination were awarded to the Republic of Kalmykia, Yaroslavl and Tambov regions. The Tomsk region won in the special nomination "For Hospitality", as the prizes to the Exposition's 11 millionth guest and his family were awarded at the region's stand.

The people's choice award for "Best Exposition" went to the Republic of Dagestan, Nizhny Novgorod and Stavropol regions.

By order of President Vladimir Putin, the work of the International RUSSIA EXPO was extended until July 8 - the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, and on April 12, the Day of Cosmonautics, a new stage began at the RUSSIA EXPO - it is dedicated to the Future of Russia, the prospects and path of the country's development. Earlier, President Vladimir Putin emphasized that now is Russia's time.

"We are reaching a completely different level of the tasks we face in order to bring the country to a new level of development by achieving them," the President said.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await guests.

The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 12 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place at the VDNH grounds in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
