Record-breaking morning exercise with Olympic champion: sports program starts at the RUSSIA EXPO

A sports program will be launched at the RUSSIA EXPO on April 20 in cooperation with the Healthy Fatherland Movement. The program will be opened by an exercise on the Main Street Stage, which will be conducted by gymnast and Olympic champion Nikita Nagorny. It is expected that the participants will set a record for the largest mass exercise in Russia.

At the end of the exercise, the ambassadors of the Exposition sports program will be presented on the Main Street Stage. They will be State Duma deputy, two-time Olympic champion in ice hockey, seven-time world champion, Merited Master of Sports of the USSR, member of the Triple Gold Club and UNESCO Champion of Sport Vyacheslav Fetisov, champion and medalist of the Sambo World Cup, three-time winner of the European Sambo Championship, winner of the World Sambo Championship, Merited Master of Sports of Russia Karina Cherevan, 13-time Paralympic Games champion in track and field athletics, Merited Master of Sports of Russia Rima Batalova, Russian football player, ex-captain of the Russian national football team Alexei Smertin, two-time Olympic champion in boxing, Merited Master of Sports of Russia Oleg Saitov, Olympic champion in cross-country skiing, Merited Master of Sports of Russia Alexander Legkov, skier, Olympic champion in individual sprint, Merited Master of Sports of Russia Nikita Kryukov, seven-time Olympic champion, 21-time world champion, 13-time European synchronized swimming champion, lecturer of the Russian Society "Knowledge" Svetlana Alekseevna Romashina.

The main partner of the Exposition in holding the sports program is the All-Russian Public Movement for Promotion of Patriotic and Sports Education of Citizens "Healthy Fatherland". The invited champions will hold mass exercises on the Main Street Stage every Saturday. In addition, a large number of sporting events will be held at the Exposition. Among them are races, festivals, tournaments, a sports parade and much more.

After April 20, mass exercises on the Main Street Stage will be held every Saturday, with a total of 10 such exercises with "star" presenters planned. These include: Russian football player, ex-captain of the Russian national football team Alexei Smertin, Russian boxer, two-time Olympic champion, Merited Master of Sports of Russia Oleg Saitov, Russian skier, Olympic champion, Merited Master of Sports of Russia Alexander Legkov, Russian skier, Olympic champion, Merited Master of Sports of Russia Nikita Kryukov, three-time Olympic champion in synchronized swimming, Merited Master of Sports of Russia Maria Kiseleva.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered on one platform. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 10 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
