The head of the region Vladimir Uiba informed about it at the meeting on preparation for the RUSSIA EXPO.

"The Komi Republic is first and foremost an industrial region, but at the same time it harmoniously combines the national colors and unique natural sights. Key achievements, which will be highlighted at the exposition, are infrastructure facilities, successes in culture, industry and digitalization", — commented the press service of the official portal of the Komi Republic.

The stand visual design will be based on an image of hospitable and distinctive region, the territory with unique natural riches and culture of the Komi people.

Among the key events of the exposition devoted to the Komi Republic are the Day of the Region, the Kandinsky Day and the Day of Skiing.

There are more than 200 specially protected natural territories in the Komi Republic. National oil industry was born and continues to grow here. More and more tourists come to see the main sights of the region — the Yugyd Va National Park, the Pechoro-Ilychsky Reserve and the Museum of Nature.
