"The result of many years of painstaking work": Denis Manturov spoke about Russia’s technological sovereignty
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Minister
of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov at the RUSSIA
EXPO spoke about the tasks and goals that the industry faces, the challenges
that the industry has had to overcome, as well as the results and achievements
of recent years.
"The
dramatic forecasts are not coming true, and this is no accident at all. This
resilience is the result of many years of painstaking work on creating
essentially a new industry to replace the one that fell into decline after the
collapse of the Soviet Union. And if there was degradation in the 90's, then in
the noughties the revival phase began, which then turned into a development
mode, and this is what made us ready to respond to non-standard challenges,"
Denis Manturov said.
Deputy
Prime Minister spoke about the interim results and prospects for solving the
task of accelerated transition to import substitution set by the President of
the country.
"Business
has received a wide system of support measures, and as a confirmation of their
productivity we see the effectively working Industrial Development Fund. It
has already provided industrial businesses with preferential loans for more
than 510 billion rubles. Taking into account investments and taxes paid, the
total effect of the Fund's work last year exceeded a trillion rubles, and the
total number of planned high-tech projects has crossed the threshold of one and
a half thousand," said Denis Manturov.
He pointed
out that 87 subjects of the Russian Federation have already established their
own Industrial Development Funds. He also noted the pace of scaling
industrial parks and industrial technoparks in the regions: their number has
exceeded 280 in 10 years. According to him, this is also a direct consequence
of the new approach to Russia's industry.
"We do not have a task to start producing everything here and now in a moment, as they say, because despite the record number of sanctions, our country maintains friendly and partnership ties with dozens of states, increases trade turnover, develops scientific and industrial cooperation. At the same time, in order to ensure the security of the country, we must have our own advanced technologies, and in order to make the most effective use of our resources, we have outlined a circle of priority products. As of today, there are 294 items on the list - from yarn, ink and seat belts to cardio pacemakers, nuclear reactors and missile carriers. This list is open and will be replenished," said Denis Manturov.
Besides, Denis Manturov joined the educational program "Excursion with Knowledge" developed by the Russian Society "Knowledge". He guided a tour around the "Made by Us" exposition of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in Pavilion E at VDNH and spoke about the prospects available for young developers and the reasons young personnel in production are in demand today more than ever.
The tour participants made separate stops at the engineering
center, where the children saw a picture of modern industrial production using
digital twins and full product life cycle systems, the "Assembly
Shop" hall and the industrial laboratory, which combines the achievements
of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
An unexpected continuation of the tour was a video call from
the Governor of the Tambov region Maxim Egorov. In the live communication mode,
Denis Manturov together with the children gave a start-up launching of a new
innovative production of wide pipes at the Tambov enterprise Metal Service.
