Rosmolodezh and the VOIN Center signed a cooperation agreement at the RUSSIA EXPO
On May 12,
during the National Priorities Day "Youth and Children: Youth Policy and
Education" at the RUSSIA EXPO, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs
(Rosmolodezh) and ANO Further Education (FE) Center for the Development of
Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth "VOIN" (lit.
"WARRIOR") signed an agreement on cooperation and collaboration.
"By
strengthening Rosmolodezh's partnership with the VOIN center, we will be able
to continue to develop the institute of mentoring in the sphere of patriotic
education. Any teacher, instructor is a carrier not only of practical
knowledge, but also of spiritual values. Last year, 225 people have already
become instructors of the project, 109 of whom participated in combat
operations. Participants of the All-Russian service project “Your Hero” of our
Rospatriot program also join the work in the training centers. The fighters who
have returned from the frontline receive skills as instructors in order to pass
on their knowledge and experience to the younger generation. Also this year, on
the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the All-Russian Mentor
Contest “To Be, Not to Seem” will be launched jointly with the VOIN Center and
the Movement of the First, which will determine the best mentors in the
country. And we are convinced that within the framework of the realization of
the “Youth and Children” national project our cooperation will only
intensify," said the head of Rosmolodezh Ksenia Razuvaeva.
The
agreement will ensure joint work of Rosmolodezh and the VOIN Center in the
sphere of civic, military-patriotic education and military-sports training of
children and youth, teaching elementary knowledge in the field of defense and
their training on the basics of military service, increasing the prestige of
military and public service in society, as well as the dissemination of best
practices in the field of patriotic education.
"The VOIN
Center and Rosmolodezh have strong and respectful partnership relations, which
today we are strengthening with a cooperation agreement. We have a big and
strategically important work ahead of us, the goal of which is to bring up a
new generation of patriots who respect traditional family values, strive for
comprehensive self-development, love the Motherland and know how to defend it.
And, of course, by joint efforts we will achieve impressive results,"said Igor
Kazarezov, Director of the VOIN Center.
The Center
for Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth "VOIN" was
established by the Order of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in December
2022. Its mission is to train a new generation of patriots who love the
Motherland and know how to defend it.
In 2023,
the center trained more than 16 thousand young cadets from 14 to 35 years old
in the basics of military service. This year it is planned to increase the
number of trained young people at least twice.
