Russia. Children. Wind Rose: a concert on the eve of Children's Day was held at the RUSSIA EXPO
Talented
children from Moscow, the Moscow and Sverdlovsk regions, the Lugansk People's
Republic and other regions of the country performed choreographic numbers and
sang songs together with professional musicians. The young performers were
supported by Russia's only Women's Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ksenia
Zharko, a laureate of international competitions. The event was organized by
Pavilion No. 71 "Smart Finance" of the Bank of Russia on the eve of
Children's Day.
"Today
talented children from different regions of our country accompanied by the
Women's Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Ksenia Zharko performed on
the Main Street Stage of the Exposition. The special guest of the concert was
Sofya Onopchenko, soloist of the Alexander Gradsky Theater and the Yuri
Silantiev Academic Grand Concert Orchestra, finalist of the Voice project on
Channel One," said Albert Latypov, Public Relations Director of Pavilion
No. 71 "Smart Finance" of the Bank of Russia.
The artists
performed musical works by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Dmitry Shostakovich, Sergei
Rachmaninov, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Aram Khachaturian, Georgy Sviridov and other
Russian composers for the concert visitors. Also, from the Main Street Stage of
the Exposition, lines of literary masterpieces by Alexander Pushkin, Marina
Tsvetaeva, Mikhail Prishvin, Sergei Yesenin, Yevgeny Yevtushenko, Fyodor
Tyutchev, Rasul Gamzatov, Konstantin Paustovsky and other authors were
performed.

concert was bright, loud and brilliant! We are proud that we have the
opportunity to support talents from different cities of our country," said
Albert Latypov.
The
International RUSSIA EXPO showcases the country's most important achievements
in one place. Throughout the exposition, guests can enjoy cultural events and a
rich business and educational program. Expositions from 89 regions of Russia,
leading federal agencies, corporations, and public organizations are presented
to visitors. More than 14 million people have already visited the Exposition.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is held at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July
8.
The lecture "Come and See: The Feat of Newsreel Cameramen during the Great Patriotic War" took place as part of the "Thursday. Development".
The centre has become the first, unique, and multifunctional exhibition venue in Belarus, operated by the National Exhibition Centre "BelExpo."
On May 8, the audience at the National Centre RUSSIA enjoyed a performance by a combined children's wind orchestra, which launched the festive concert programme.
