Russian cosmonauts accepted the invitation from young tour guides to visit the "Journey Across Russia"
Students of the "Young Tour Guides School" at the National Centre RUSSIA recorded a message to Russian cosmonauts, inviting them to the "Journey Across Russia" exposition, which will open on March 1. Responding as part of the celebration of International Tourist Guide Day, pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of the Russian Federation, and President of the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre at VDNH, Fyodor Yurchikhin, noted that the invitation deeply moved the cosmonauts.
"The 'Journey Across Russia' exposition at the National Centre is a wonderful initiative that allows people to learn more about our great country and its beauty. We are delighted to accept your invitation and will definitely visit the exposition," said Fyodor Yurchikhin.
The Hero of the Russian Federation congratulated the young guides on the occasion and emphasized that the work of a tour guide is not just about telling stories about landmarks but also about opening the world to people, inspiring them to embark on new journeys and discoveries.
"You are doing important work by helping to preserve and pass on the cultural legacy of our country," concluded the pilot-cosmonaut.
The "Journey Across Russia" project will launch at the National Centre RUSSIA on March 1. It will bring together an exposition and gastronomic space, as well as a rich cultural and educational program and much more. The exposition will showcase all federal districts of Russia, highlighting their landmarks and achievements.
