Russian scientists have found a means of defense against epidemics like COVID-19
The Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics in Pushchino has developed a remedy that significantly boosts immunity and can help fight epidemics, including new strains of influenza virus or coronavirus.
The medicine is made in the form of a nanoemulsion using terpenoids. These are active particles from coniferous essential oils. Their properties help plants fight bacteria and other unfavorable factors. Terpenoids were added to squalene — this substance is already used all over the world as a general tonic. The effectiveness of the novelty was exceptionally high.
Another domestic development in this area, the Sputnik V vaccine, is presented on the "Achievements.RF" platform. The drug provided a real breakthrough in the fight against the pandemic, because it became the world’s first vaccine against COVID-19. The "Achievements.RF" platform also contains other developments of Russian scientists, as well as successes of corporations and regions in various industries. The project was launched to prepare for the International RUSSIA EXPO, which will be opened on November 4 at the VDNH in Moscow. All 89 Russian regions, departments and corporations will demonstrate their latest achievements and potential in various fields.
