Christmas Hymns and the Orchestra of Contemporary Music: Concerts on the Ivanovo Region Day
As part of the Ivanovo Region Day, on January 10, the combined choir of the Children's School of Arts from the city of Shuya will perform at the RUSSIA EXPO in the Cultural Projects Zone in 11:20.
The group presents Christmas Hymns written especially for the festival Russian Christmas, which celebrates its anniversary this year and has already become a trademark of the Ivanovo region. The combined choir is conducted by Tatiana Koryagina, a teacher of the vocal and choral department of the Children's School of Music, who is known in the Ivanovo region as the head of the Girls' Choir Chapel.
Between the hymns there will be a performance by the flutist Anna Glebova, the laureate of International and All-Russian contests, a student of the Children's School of Music in the class of teacher Tatyana Kudryavtseva. She will perform I. Shiltseva's piece Night Idyllia together with the students of the Choreography Department of the Exemplary Folk Dance Ensemble Ozorniki (Naughty Kids).
And from 14:00 to 15:00 in the Grand Concert Hall there will be a concert of the contemporary music orchestra OpensoundOrchestra (Moscow) under the direction of the Russian violinist and conductor, associate professor of the Moscow Conservatory Stanislav Malyshev.
OpensoundOrchestra unites young and talented musicians who are burning with the desire to perform new, rare, unknown to the general public music. The band was founded in 2018 by violinist and conductor Stanislav Malyshev and cellist Olga Kalinova.
The integration of special military operation veterans into peaceful life and the interaction between regions and municipalities were discussed as part of the Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA".
The second All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
