Win a helicopter tour to the Manpupuner Plateau, travel through indescribable natural beauties, get to know your totem animal and try on a pilot's uniform. The stand of the Komi Republic welcomes guests with northern flavor and cozy resting places under a pine tree.
Visitors can look
into a real tent with reindeer skins and watch cartoons based on myths and
legends of the Komi people. There is also a fragment of the world's oldest ski
Jirkap - the discovery of scientists is more than 8 thousand years old.
At the interactive stand you can examine the artifact and listen to the legend about the hunter Jirkap - this is the first legendary skier of the Komi land, whose memory has reached us thanks to mythology. According to the legend, Jirkap made a ski from "his own tree" - in the Komi language, as pu, which Jirkap searched for a long time before making a pair of skis. The hunter's soul and happiness are contained in "his own tree". This tree was a pine. The bow is decorated with a carved head of a moose, which serves as an anchor-brake.
