Focusing on quality: Monday is a maintenance day at the National Centre RUSSIA
By tradition, every Monday at the National Centre RUSSIA is
a technical maintenance day, and even Knowledge Day on 1 September will be no
exception. Maintenance days are necessary to ensure that the space of the
National Centre RUSSIA remains comfortable and safe for both regular and new
visitors.
It is not just about a general cleaning of the premises with
mandatory disinfection of all surfaces. On a maintenance day, the team of
specialists will check the operability of interactive equipment, update exposition
modules, and carry out a range of additional technical maintenance works so
that the service remains impeccable for everyone.
From Tuesday, 2 September, the National Centre RUSSIA will
once again open its doors to visitors of all ages and will operate according to
its usual schedule — daily from 10:00 to 20:00. With the help of modern
interactive technologies, the "Journey Across Russia" exposition
compresses space and time: in just an hour and a half, you can see the main
sights of all the federal districts of the country, from ancient monuments to
modern achievements. In the Gastronomic Rows, guests will find the best dishes
of Russia’s peoples, while the rich cultural and educational programme will be
equally engaging for both children and adults.
All expositions and events are free to attend, but
participation in certain events requires prior registration on the website
russia.ru. The event schedule is regularly updated on the website and in the
official social media accounts of the National Centre RUSSIA.
On 29 August, the Russian Crab Festival opened on the Sportivnaya Embankment in Vladivostok. The event will run until 14 September.
Our digest brings together not only the main events but also the ideas, emotions and moods that set the tone for the past week at the National Centre RUSSIA.
