Samara region will give away trips to cosmodromes at the RUSSIA EXPO
The stand of the Samara region will launch a rocket on the opening day of the International RUSSIA EXPO and will raffle off tickets to Baikonur and Vostochny cosmodromes on April 12, Cosmonautics Day.
The Governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov held a meeting on the preparation of the region for participation in the exposition.
"Thanks to the presidential attention, the efforts of the management team, hard work, the initiative of the region’s residents, the Samara region has shown high adaptability to existing realities, the ability to find new points of growth. This should be emphasized by the organizers and visitors of the exposition. We have a lot to show, a lot to be proud of. Our region is a supporting land of the country, ready to fulfill the task of any degree of complexity", — emphasized Dmitry Azarov.
The exposition of the region is based on several directions: "Samara region — the heart of all Russia", "SamaRussia", "Time of renewal" and "Let’s meet in Samara". The central place will be occupied by a huge model of a rook, and the main screen will be located on its sail.
On the Day of National Unity, November 4, when the exposition starts its work, the region’s stand will show a virtual launch of a Soyuz rocket from the launch complex. Besides, visitors will enjoy a VR-travel around the region.
The main feature of the exposition is an amphitheater zone with spectator seats, where film screenings, lectures, master classes, meetings with famous people and other interesting performances and events will be organized.
Sports fans will have a unique opportunity to play football, hockey or basketball with digital copies of famous athletes of the Samara region.
The Samara Region Day promises a rich business, educational and cultural program. The launch of the Lada car raffle will also be announced.
"Everything should be aimed at attracting attention to the region. The presentation of the material should create a desire to come to us: to live, work and rest. And as a result, the exposition will give a new impetus to the development of the Samara region", — concluded the governor.
