Samara-based "Progress" center to show space developments at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Samara-based Space Rocket Center "Progress" will present its own space technologies at the International RUSSIA EXPO at the VDNH. This was revealed by the general director of the center Dmitry Baranov. He reminded that Samara is often called the space capital of the country.
"On November 4 at VDNH opens the RUSSIA EXPO, which will present the achievements of both our enterprise and other enterprises of the region", — said the general director.
As a reminder, on September 15, the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft will launch from Baikonur on a launch vehicle designed and made at "Progress". The crew commander is Oleg Kononenko, who himself worked at the company for a long time and attributes his success to this experience.
"I have said many times that if there was no Samara period in my life, there would be no cosmonaut Kononenko", — shared the crew commander.
He also noted that in Samara everything from rockets to spaceships is made.
The international RUSSIA EXPO will open at the VDNH in Moscow on November 4. All 89 Russian regions will present their achievements in various spheres.
On the first day, idea pitching sessions were held across four vectors: "Investment in people", "Investment in connectivity", "Investment in technology", and "Investment in the environment".
