Secrets of scaling up local businesses: business programme of the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA at INNOPROM 2025
As part of
the business programme "From Emotion to Business Model" by the
Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA at INNOPROM 2025 in
Yekaterinburg, lectures continued on July 9, featuring regional experts
discussing business development and promotion. One of the central events of the
day was the lecture titled "GROW: promoting local brands."
The session
was opened by Deputy Minister of Investment and Development of the Sverdlovsk
Region, Yevgeny Tikhanov.
"I
would like to express my gratitude to the National Centre RUSSIA for bringing
such a vibrant presence to our 15th International Industrial Exposition
INNOPROM. This is truly a highlight of our exposition and a powerful attraction
for residents of Yekaterinburg, the Sverdlovsk region, and international
guests," said Yevgeny Tikhanov.
He spoke in
detail about the regional measures in place to support and promote local brands
and offered practical advice to producers on finding buyers.
"In
our view, regional fairs are a very important tool for promotion. These have
been held for several years now with the support of the regional
government," the expert emphasised.
Yevgeny
Tikhanov pointed out that local producers participate in such fairs free of
charge, giving them an additional sales platform.
Another
guest speaker was Andrei Vasilyev, head of the Tagil Tray company, located in
the Sverdlovsk region. He shared insights into the specific features of his
business and the organisation of sales. His enterprise is a resident of the
Domna creative cluster in Yekaterinburg, where some of his finest products are
on display.
As
effective tools for increasing brand recognition and scaling a business, the
expert highlighted participation in regional programmes supporting folk crafts,
grant competitions, and regional and national expositions.
Also
featured on the third day of the business programme was the lecture "WIN:
how to scale up a local business," which focused on inspiring success
stories.
The stand
of the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA presents visitors with
unique products from 100 Russian manufacturers representing 46 regions of the
country. These products are available for direct purchase at the stand. The
exposition is divided into four thematic categories: "Groceries"
featuring gourmet brands, "Accessories" with designer jewellery,
"Folk Crafts and Trades" showcasing traditional decorative items, and
"Cosmetics" offering natural products based on historic recipes.

The public talk "How to build a reliable long-term partnership" as part of the educational program of the II All-Russian Wedding Festival was held at the National Centre RUSSIA.
On the third day of the All-Russian Wedding Festival, a large-scale cultural and educational programme unfolded at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The Department Store stand became a significant part of the international industrial exposition INNOPROM 2025.
