A family from Belarus will visit Moscow and the National Centre RUSSIA as part of the "Victory Routes" project
The Batyanovsky family from the city of Zhodin, the Republic of Belarus, became the winner of a drawing held for the "Victory Routes" excursion and educational project. The gift certificate for a trip to Moscow was presented to the winners by Sergey Baran, Director of the BelExpo National Exposition Centre, and Elena Likhimovich, Deputy Director for Tourism at BelExpo. The awarding ceremony took place on the eve of the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
During the trip, the Batyanovsky family: Gleb, Rostislav, Irina, and Vitaly — will visit iconic places in Moscow associated with the history of the Great Victory, see the main attractions of the Russian capital, and visit the National Centre RUSSIA.
"Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers made an enormous contribution to the Great Victory, sacrificing their lives so that we could live happily. That is why we always participate in such patriotic events and contests to ensure that our children understand that this was the work of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. We thank them very much for that," Irina said.
The "Victory Routes" is a joint excursion and educational project of the National Centre RUSSIA and the National Exposition Centre "BelExpo", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The program allows participants to immerse themselves in the heroic history of two fraternal nations, to learn about the events which forever changed the course of history, and to be inspired by our shared achievements.
Weekend tours to places of the military glory are held both in Russia and in Belarus. Excursions in Russia cover Moscow and the Moscow region, while the Belarusian route includes visits to Vitebsk, Minsk, and Brest. Several tour options are available to guests.
From June 30 to July 6, the working schedule of the National Centre RUSSIA will change.
