On May 15, six couples from the regions of the Ural Federal District got married at the Exposition. The ceremony was performed as part of the First All-Russian Wedding Festival, which is held in partnership with the Moscow City Government.

On the fourth day of the festival, one couple from the Kurgan, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk regions, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra, as well as two couples from the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area tied the knot. The newlyweds also took part in the festive procession from the Arch of the Main Entrance to the Main Street Stage together with regional creative groups.

The newlyweds were handed the flame of the All-Russian Family Hearth “Heart of Russia”, which was lit at the Exposition during the ceremony of launching the Year of the Family with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin on January 23.

The union of Dmitry and Antonina from the Tyumen region, who married at the Exposition, is unusual: they were both born on the same day.

"The uniqueness of our couple is that we were born on the same day - March 8. And eight is infinity and happiness," said Dmitry.

They admitted that they were delighted to get married at the RUSSIA EXPO. "We are very glad, our expectations were fully met! Siberia is a very hospitable region. All the guests of the Exposition also became guests of our wedding," Antonina shared her impressions.
