"School of Public Communications" for schoolchildren launched at the National Centre RUSSIA
On May 16, the first event was held in the new space of the National Centre RUSSIA "Youth and Children in the Space of Opportunities" — a workshop on communications for schoolchildren. The class opened the "School of Public Communications" series and became a starting point for those who want to speak confidently, listen attentively and work in a team.
Anna Kupriyanova and Marina Orlova, lecturers from the "Journalism and Sociology" department of Togliatti State University, worked with the participants. In an interactive format, they explained the basic principles of communication and the secrets of successful public speaking.
The youngsters learned to read emotions, listen to the interlocutor and build a lively dialogue. According to Anna Kupriyanova, the topic is challenging, but the schoolchildren quickly engaged and showed a genuine desire for development.
"They didn't just listen — they looked for examples, complemented each other, supported their peers", noted Marina Orlova.
The speakers thanked the organisers for the atmosphere of cooperation and inspiration.
